Oops I Did It Again

When will I learn?? Apparently  last year didn't teach me anything. Apparently, I just LIKE sunburns...

Like vitamins and anti-aging creams, it's the remembering to use them that's the challenge. I have opted for spray on sunscreen, somehow the ease of it makes me remember to use it more...But since we've had only one day of summer weather here, so far I've been good.

omg super ouch!!! Hempz is the best moisturizer, definitely rub some on and see the difference the next day - very soothing!

Ouch! I do this ever year. So far this year I haven't been out in the sun so I've been lucky, but I'm sure it is coming.

I agree with Ellen...spray on sunscreen! It's easier to get on the kiddos, and you can actually apply it to your own back. :o) I find mine at Big Lots ($4) and use 70-100 SPF. I know they say the big numbers don't help, but for someone who is in the sun ALL DAY teaching swimming lessons, that is a crock! The bigger numbers really do help!

Hope you don't peel!

I hope you have a vat of Aloe Vera gel! ;)

Seems like someone was telling me to put egg whites on the sunburn, let it get good and dry and then shower. Apparently it takes away the pain.

Grrr. I hate sunburns and am a fanatic about sunscreen but sometimes sunburns still happen. I feel your pain. Aloe, Noxzema, cold compresses...my medicine cabinet is well stocked if you need anything.

The same thing happens to me every year!

Double and triple ouch! and Ouch to last years, too! I watch little kids that are redheads and white as white can be, so sunscreen is a huge must, I never want them to get sunburned when they are here and they will be here all summer...so, when I put it on them I put it on my 1/2 Mexi babies and myself! Just try to take care of TExan Mama, too!
