What I learned by going to Cost Cutters

By getting my hair cut at Cost Cutters Family Hair Salon today, I have learned that...

1. The people there are very nice.
2. I don't have to make an appointment, or even wait more than 10 minutes, to get my hair cut in a jif.
3. They are located in handy spots like the exit way of Wal-Mart.
4. The price for a haircut is very cheap.
5. I get what I pay for.
6. They do not give refunds.
7. If I'm having a bad day, I should not think that getting a hair cut at Cost Cutters will perk me up. Because it won't. It might drive me closer to a mental break, but it won't perk me up. Thatisall.

You got your hair cut at Walmart?! Oh Gretchen....

Darn it! Blogger just ate my comment, I think.

Anyway...Gretchen, I'm so sorry!

And what do you mean they don't "do refunds"? If they can't fix it then, dammit, a refund is due.

Call the manager. If you don't get anywhere with that let me know. I'll figure out who the CEO is and the address and you can take it up with them. THAT should get the problem resolved!

I have sooooo learned that lesson too. It's not a fun one. However, I went back the next day and they fixed it for free.

Go back and ask them to fix it. They will. They better!

Is it okay if I laughed? I needed to laugh...

it is cheaper at the beauty college. And you don't get shanked nearly as often.

It is nice that they are friendly. That is sadly lacking most places these days.

Oh I'm so sorry. But not all Cost Cutters are created equal. My friend works at one and does the best hair ever!!!

Hey Y'all. For the record, I did go back and ask for a refund. They said "no, technically you have already received the service so we can't refund you your money." But they totally offered to re-cut my hair and
"fix" it. I politely declined. mess up my hair once, shame on you. Mess up my hair twice, shame on me.

Hair grows out - nothing to worry about, a couple of great hats, headbands & clips is all you need to make it through. It's a hard lesson, but one that you'll never forget.

p.s. I'm with Jennifer - Wal-Mart? Really?

Oh girl! Haircuts usually perk me up...until I have to pay for them! Ouch!! I used to do our Cost Cutters but we must have crankier hairdressers up north...I always left in a mood! Now I pay an arm and a leg to get my hair done :( BUT it always makes me feel sexy!!

Oh I am so sorry.... this is what happens to me every time I decide to pop in to our Hair Cuttery right around the corner. I hope you found someone to fix it.
